Technical enough to build it. Creative enough to make it matter.
Decay Studios Web is my independent practice. I build websites for businesses that want to be understood and remembered, handling the strategy, the design, and the code myself.
Most business sites are assembled from the same handful of templates, which is why so many of them resemble one another. Blending in has a cost: visitors leave without registering who they were dealing with.
The way out is a wider toolkit. Visual design and audio/visual production run through this practice alongside the web work, so the sites come out with an atmosphere instead of a template's default mood.
Behind it is one person: David Kapusi. That shapes how a project runs.
- You deal with me directly. No account manager, and no handover between a designer and a developer.
- I take on few projects at a time. Yours gets proper attention rather than a place in a queue.
- You see the work as it is built. Nothing is saved up for a reveal at the end, so direction gets corrected while it is still cheap to change.
- I need real information from you. Honest detail about the business and its customers is what the work gets built from.
